The game restarts very often throughout the time Im playing. Its frustrating because you have to navigate to get back to the game youre playing. I love this game as a board game, not a fan of the app

Very slow, cannot invite friends, and not user friendly at all. Back to the drawing board fellas.

Cmon, Mattel. Try not to broadcast that you dont have a clue. Here is a brilliant board game that could easily play well on a device--especially an iPad. But no. There are so many problems: 1) Interface is clunky. Its hard to select pieces. Hard to know what you have in-hand. Clumsy to maneuver. 2) Stoopid "characters". You dont need to cute-ify the game, Mattel. Its a serious strategy game loved most by passionate, serious players. Do you not even know your target market? 3) AI is weak. The most telling thing about the AI is the "hard" level solo game. The developers idea of making it "hard" is for all three AI players to gang up on you. 4) Menus are ridiculous and self-serving. Far too much promotion of other apps, promotion of useless power-ups, and useless menu pages to click thru. The fact that you cant immediately return to a game in progress without navigating the menus is ridiculous. 5) Lack of basic play-and-pass. Really?? Back to the drawing board. But before you do, go play Carcassonne and Ticket to Ride for mobile.

Love this game! It is addictive helps you plan ahead and there is thinking involved!

Game keeps crashing, and when you play solo with the computer all three of the computer players dont compete against each other, they just gang up on blocking you!

I have been playing Blokus for years. By far my favorite game and was excited to see it as an app. This app needs lots of work! The app freezes, will automatically close, and once my previous placed blocks moved positions. Please fix these issues so I can play all day!!!

The game itself is fun, however the app version suffers. It is slow, and we could do without the snarky comments from the computer-generated players. Their speech bubbles obscure the board.

Never played this as a child so I like the concept a lot, but Im unable to buy hints - oh they take my money but the hints never show up. Beware!!

You choose your block and then every other character just sits there for a minute tutting to "choose" a block. A waste of time and money.

The game is fun, however I have some issues with the app. First, I paid for the ad free version but there are still ads. Second, it constantly pesters you to use special abilities (and forces you to when it first introduces each one) but you cant see your own pieces or most of the board when picking abilities so you have to strategize ahead of time. Lastly, when you go to "buy" abilities with the blocks youve earned, there is an option to get a free one. But if you tap that option, it clocks and eventually tells you to check your internet connection. Pick one of the abilities that costs blocks, though, and it magically works. Why tease with the free option?

You have a great game for the whole family or group of friends, need 3 player option, clean up some of the controls....you know what needs to be done. Its not free so give people who are paying a game worth paying......almost there.

Fun game. Nice way to practice a bit and sharpen my skills before the next sit down game with the family.

This game is alright, but after paying for it Im not entirely sure why they felt the need to STILL bombard me with ads.

The Game: I just discovered this game a week ago as part of Extra Life United tournament. Got hooked! Didnt think twice about ordering it. But that wasnt enough. Had to buy this app so I can play while the boardgame arrives. The App: it prompts you to use special abilities, but every time I use one, the app shuts down. Also, Ive played only medium level so far, as blue color, and it gets predictable after a while. Just watch for yellow because its the smartest AI, if not the only smart one. Ive read a couple of reviews that say that level Hard only means that every AI gangs up on you. So I guess that one is predictable too. This is a really great strategy game. Hope they fix those bugs.

Great game but the Invite feature doesnt work and crashes the app.

Love the game, but it has some serious faults with connecting to both the Internet and Game Center. Save yourself the time and whip out the game on your kitchen table.
